Everything from Maine Cottage Foods has free shipping when weather permits. Our desire is to absorb shipping charges as much as we can for as long as we can to make things easier for our customers. However, since shipping charges have increased astronomically due to rising fuel costs, we reluctantly must reserve the right to change our policy to stay in business. If you have preferences about how we should handle the increased shipping costs, we would like to hear from you. Creativity is always appreciated - and we know that it is out there in abundance. When it's hot out (over 80) you may select "Cold Shipping" on any item in your order. This will allow us the option to use cold packing to get your items to you in good condition in warm weather. We will use it only if needed, and then it will be automatically billed into the sale. It is $10 per shipment. If "cold shipping" is not selected and it is too hot to ship your order, we will inform you of any delay. How long before I can expect my order? Our goal is to make and send each order out within 48 hours of receiving it. Often we can make your order the same day we get it and send it that same day or the next day. But sometimes we get orders in rapid-fire succession, equipment goes on strike or our ingredients don't arrive on schedule. We will keep you posted if there will be a delay. You can track your order's status using a code sent in our confirmation email to you. Also, if we cannot make and ship your order within 4 days, we will email you so you know we haven't forgotten you and to apprise you of the situation.
